Historic Downtown

Kleberg Avenue
Kingsville, TX 78363

Whether you’re a birdwatcher, sportsman, cowboy at heart or a history buff, Kingsville has something for everyone. Nestled deep in the heart of South Texas, Kingsville is a haven for hundreds of wildlife species including tropical and migratory birds, white-tailed deer and javelinas.

One of the largest working ranches in South Texas is also located near Kingsville. The King Ranch is home to over 60,000 head of cattle and 300-quarter horses. The King Ranch Museum, which is located is historic downtown, chronicles the history of the ranch and the surrounding area.

The culture doesn’t stop there. Visitors can also enjoy the 1904 Train Depot Museum or John E. Connor Museum at Texas A&M-Kingsville which both detail the local birth of the modern-day American ranching industry.

Visitors can also enjoy a performance by the renowned Kingsville Symphony Orchestra or stroll through our quaint downtown area that is full of historical attractions. Modeled after America’s old main streets, our downtown is alive with specialty shops and the famous King Ranch Saddle Shop. Bring back a piece of the Old West or enjoy a home cooked meal in our very own old-fashioned soda fountain located in Harrel’s Pharmacy.

The fun begins now. Come and see what Kingsville has to offer.
